Dragonflies Stained Glass Birthday

Hello and Happy 1st Friday of April.
That means time for a new Challenge #217 at Pattie's Creations Design Challenge!

And here is my inspiration make for you.
I've used Pattie's beautiful Dragonflies Stained Glass digi stamp as my focal image, which I sized, framed and printed out from PSE and then colored the stained glass with Promarkers and the blades of glass with colored pencils. I ran a glitter marker around the frame before layering on a sheet of SEI Couture designer paper. I'd notched the corners of the dp with a Marvy corner punch and accented that with glitter marker after I'd adhered the paper to the white card base.

Then I used a very old Sizzix frog and lily pad steel rule die to cut white card and color with Promarkers, which I added to the bottom of the card. I brushed Wink of Stella on the water lily die cut and stamped an Art Impressions sentiment with Versafine Clair on the lily pad. I also glitter gel penned the dragonflies' wings and bodies and the cattail/bulrush seed heads (which also go by the slang term corn dog grass, lol). Finally, I added googly eyes to the cute frog and 3 water droplet enamel dots to the top right corner to finish.

On back, I used a Martha Stewart border punch around the edges of another sheet of SEI Couture dp along with two skinny paper strips from the card front and a stamped and punched Hero Arts siggie.

And last look.
Thanks for visiting today.
Come join us in the challenge!

Your project is simply stunning! The way you've colored and framed the Dragonflies Stained Glass digi stamp creates a mesmerizing focal point. The addition of the frog and lily pad, along with the glitter accents, adds a delightful touch to the overall composition. Your attention to detail truly shines through, making it a beautiful piece of art.
