Happy Saturday!
Hope your weekend is going well.
Okay, this card is a bit weird, but it kinda had to be because of that fabulous Gecko Galz image, right?
I just love that rabbit and had to use him for this off-beat Spring/Easter card for our kids.
I chose this Splitcoaststmpers sketch for my A2 layout design.
Supply List:
Recollections white card stock
7Gypsies Avalon designer paper
Gecko Galz digital image freebie, framed in PSE
Spellbinders Postage Stamp nested die
Black and Brown Promarkers for edging
Computer-generated sentiment
Close up of the rabbit.
I image-googled this and learned it was painted by Melinda Copper and is called 'Moose as Bacchus'.
It was given to us as a blog freebie by Gecko Galz back in 2019.
On back, more of the 7Gypsies paper and a Hero Arts stamped and punched siggie.
Inside, I composed and framed the sentiment in PSE which attempts to parody bits of Marc Antony's speech at Caesar's funeral in Shakespeare's Julius Caeser Act III Scene 2 (that begins with the phrase I used on front). This is something that our son-in-love will like, and I just couldn't resist taking the Roman thing a bit further.
😁
And final view.
Thanks for visiting and have a great evening.

This is clever Aimeslee. I love toga bunny and how fun to use that Shakespeare quote. Happy Sunday. hugs-Erika
Love the sentiment with that image - very unique!
I think that rabbit has quite enough ears of his own! A brilliant image, that flower bedecked toga wearing bunny is amazing! Great layout and design too...and a perfect sentiment. Thank you for sharing your fabulous card at Fab'n' Funky.

Fun image and card, thanks for joining us at A Place to Start for our Anything Goes, optional Hip to be square hallenge.
Your card is wonderfully unique and full of whimsical charm! The Gecko Galz image of the rabbit adds a delightful touch to your off-beat Spring/Easter theme, and the choice of the Splitcoaststmpers sketch for the layout design complements it perfectly. The computer-generated sentiment, along with the clever parody of Marc Antony's speech inside, adds an extra layer of creativity and humor to the card that is sure to be appreciated by your son-in-love.
That sentiment is perfect! The framing paper is kind of Romanesque, so everything is tied together, including those rabbit ears. Love it.
Gorgeous! I love the creativity of this! Thanks so much for sharing with us at A Place to Start!
