Sending Birthday Love

 Hello again!
Hope everyone's getting ready for a great week ahead.
I'm sharing a birthday card for my card stash that is full of hearts and love.
I planned at first only to follow the sketch, but ended up making a pretty good guy card for one of my male relatives. Or female. It just strikes me more as a guy card for a loved one.

Supplies Used:
Recollections and KI Memories card stock
Wasusau Rocket Red paper
Avery Elle and MFT patterned papers
Avery Elle and Happy Little Stampers sentiment stamps
Versamark and Versafine Clair inks
Ranger Gold Detail embossing powder
Avery Elle and Lawn Fawn banner flag dies
DoCrafts X-Cut balloons and strings dies
Elizabeth Crafts candle dies
Gold and red glitter markers
Heart punch

I used the current sketch at Hand Stamped Sentiments for my A7 card layout design.

At this angle you can see well the candle flames and the gold-embossed sentiment.

Back of card papered and inside a Clearly Besotted stamped sentiment.

Final view.
With the colors, this actually turned out more masculine than feminine to my mind.
I'll probably keep it for a guy card as we have many in the family.
Thanks for the visit and enjoy your night.

That is a fantastic birthday card Aimeslee. The colors say celebrate to me, and what are birthdays without love (your hearts), candles and balloons too? Nicely done. Thanks for sharing it with us at TIOT. And I will mention that I know my Harry Potter journal is a bit of fun over the top, but it's good to have a little magic in my art every now and again. And no, I didn't start it before I left. The 3 ring binder style means I can work on many pages at the same general time because I can start a new one when one is drying. Plus it has been nice to get a travel journal done quickly too, and the stickers definitely help that. And you certainly have had some temperature swings. It's chilly again today, but looks like a slight warm up as the week goes on. Have a great start to the new week. hugs-Erika
