CD Sunday Plus Challenge Time!

Sunday Greetings to you!
Hope your weekend's going well.
It's time for the next challenge at CD Sunday Plus!
My team mate Meg is hosting this go around.
The challenge is fortnightly, every other Sunday ending on Saturday before the next challenge.
You must use a CD, USB or Digital image somewhere on your make, which must be a physical creation. And please tell us the image source. Complete rules are listed on the challenge blog sidebar.
I have a 6x6 birthday girl card for my inspiration make and I used Polkadoodles as my digital image sources.
Supplies Used:
Verve 'Your Time to Shine' sentiment stamp
Fantasia Versafine Clair ink
Polkadoodles Fairy Ballerina Wanda pre-colored digital image
Promarkers to color background scene
Glitter markers to color on Wanda image, curtain holds, sentiment and scene lights
Colored pencils to add shading to lights
Springhill Digital, KI Memories and Bazzill card stocks
Sizzix star die cut out of gold foil

I sized the Theatre Scene image to fit the card in PSE, printed out on white card and then colored it all up with Promarkers. I add yellow glitter marker to the lights. I stamped the sentiment and added some purple glitter marker to the flourish. I sized the pre-colored Wanda Fairy Ballerina, printed out and fussy cut, placing her center stage and adding 3 die cut gold foil stars around her head. I added a lot of glitter marker coloring to her clothes. I added shading to my scene with colored pencils and glitter marker. I layered the scene onto a black frame and then a purple mat on the white 6x6 card base.

Here's a close-up showing the glitter and shine on her outfit, the sentiment, curtains, lights and stars.

A few photos to try to show the white colored pencil marks and shading I used to show the beams of the lights. It looks really cool in person.

The back and inside of the card. More paper from the front on back and a mash-up of stamped sentiments from Avery Elle and Sheena Douglass.

And final view.
Come play with us at CD Sunday Plus Challenge if you get the chance!
Thank you very much for the visit and have a great day.

I love to use background scenery digis because they can be resized to fit any size card and are much easier than physically masking/stamping out a scene IF you have the stamps. And, if you have .png images, you can digitally create a scene in software like PSE.
