Happy February!
And here is my inspiration make.
SUPPLIES USED:
Kraft card stock
Basic Grey Bittersweet 12x12 designer paper collection
White paper heart doily
WPlus9 Cupid die
Crafters Companion With Love die
Impression Obsession die (inside)
I chose this Splitcoaststampers sketch for my layout design, stretching it to A9 size.
But oops, I left out the #2 element. I was going by memory, didn't print out the sketch and completely forgot about it until after I'd finished.
I used Kraft card for my base and layered on the BG red paper base mat. I edge-distressed the dotted paper and layered it on. After coloring the focal image, I arranged and adhered the doily, focal image and die cut Cupid. I cut two of the sentiment dies, adhered them together and then onto the card.
Inside, I used a pink Impression Obsession die cut. On back, some of the scraps from the same BG collection.
Closeup of my focal image. Everything was colored with Promarkers, except for the chocolate candies. I used Posca Paint Pens on them (brown and ivory). I edged the image with Spectrum Noir glitter markers, pink then red over that.

This piece is sweet, both about the candy box and the way you made this. I think adding the doily adds some great texture. And I like the cupid too. This is a great image and really wonderful Valentine card. I have been thinking about what to do for my hubby for Valentine's day this year and struggling to figure out a card. Hoping to see some inspiration and this card is great inspiration.
