Hope all is well in your world.
As I said in my last post, it's hot. We are supposed to reach 101F Friday.
I may sleep in the daytime until we hopefully catch a break.
I needed to make my cousin-in-law his birthday card, so once again I turned to a pre-colored digi from The Paper Shelter. This one is called Snake Charmer appropriately enough. Before I printed it, I added the sentiment in the center with PSE's text tool and one of my new fonts.
I used Basic Grey's 12x12 Motifica papers for the base and all paper layers. I edged around each paper's edge with a brown Promarker before adhering down to define the layers better. Then I just let the comical image take center stage.
Inside, I printed just the TPS mat that comes with the digi set, adding my sentiment with the PSE text tool before printing. Edged with the marker and layered it onto two larger edged layers.
On back, my siggie and more of the BG Motifica edged papers. Just simple edging with a marker makes such a difference, especially using grungy papers.

What a fun and gorgeous card. I can almost hear the music from the snake charmer?!! Here it's hot, too, and I had to walk into town to go to the ear, nose and throat doc for some tests, but afterwards I treated myself to a icecream cone to cool me off for the way back, and then had a sleep at home.... The snake charmer is one cutie. And I'm not even a big snake fan. I like how the snake is listening to some tunes or a good book. Smile. I am not a lover or indeed even a liker of snakes, but I did have a quick peek.
I don't think we reached 105F the other night but it was pretty close. I was stripping my bed at about 4am and using clean bath towels to sleep on.
