Happy World Art Day ! Hope all is well with your world.
Today also brings a new monthly challenge at Beautiful Blossoms Challenge Blog and here is this month's optional mood board for inspiration. Go HERE for the challenge guidelines.
And we are also partnering with the Double Trouble Challenge for April 15-27, so enter your creation there too!
And here is my Design Team make, made for my neighbor who is a very special lady and good friend. I used the colors of the mood board for my background, used a flower stencil and added layered and bradded die cut flower clusters.
I used this Splitcoaststampers sketch for my layout design.
My background was made using this Stamplorations stencil and Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Big Brush Pens on white card.
I used a CAS-ual Fridays die to cut the flower clusters out of card colored with the Pitt pens. The EKS and Hero Arts sentiment combo was stamped with Versamark and white heat-embossed on avocado card stock that I also used as the base mat on my white card base.
Here's a close up of the heat-embossed sentiment.
Inside I layered some patterned paper scraps and added a top layer on which I stamped a Deep Red sentiment and colored with the Pitt Artist pens.
I added glitter to the word Awesome to help it stand out more.
On back, more of those patterned paper scraps and a colored siggie.
Overhead view.
And final view.

I hope you will come play with us and join in the fun. Flowers are so uplifting to the spirit especially in Springtime. Any type of handmade paper project is welcome, so you are not limited to cards.
Take care and thanks for visiting!

Hi, Aimes! Your stencil really produces a marvelously rich mosaic feel, doesn't it? I used to thrive on creating mosaics with ceramics, glass, and old pottery or tile. I'd forgotten all about that long-lost hobby until seeing your card! And I even made a mosaic'ish card myself this time, but didn't think of those "olden days". But your card definitely evoked those memories. Thanks for doing that (giggle). Beautifully done with those brilliantly vivid blue flowers! Your neighbor will cherish it.
