Hey there, hope all is well in your world.
I'm sharing an art journal page today for my Puns & Roses wordplay glue book journal called "Catbird Seat". I only have one good photo and I haven't yet adhered the page into my book. The background (sky and ground) was watercolored using Stabilo Woody 3in1 pencils and a damp brush to spread the color. The cages, cat and bench were colored using Zig Clean Color markers and Promarkers. Sakura Stardust gel pens were used here and there for a little sparkle. I made the title with very old orphaned letter stickers, trying to use them up! I used a white gel pen on the darker letters and a purple Sakura Gold Shadow to trace around all of them.
I used lots of stamps (along with Versafine Clair inks).

Fur and feathers abound on your page with that gorgeous cat as the centre piece. I love the colours you have used, so bright and happy looking.
The cat reminds me of one of my stamps by Laurel Burch which is one of my favourites so it was lovely to see something very similar. Now you are tempting me, I must kpop along and look at the cat and see what else there is.

Hi Aimeslee. Sorry I haven't visited lately but the hubby and I were away for almost 2 weeks. But I am glad to be home and glad to see you joined us at AJJ with this fun piece. That is one funky cat, and I love how you even added those feathers. It's a good thing you have birds around too so I'm guessing that kitty didn't have a little bird for lunch. Smile.
