Joy To The World Card

Hello there, me again. Hope you are all okay. I'm popping in to share this Christmas card before one of the challenges expires that I want to enter it in.
I've had a high pain day and my next card in line required coloring, which I did not feel up to. So, I looked around in my UFAP's (aka UnFinished Art Projects) and saw I'd already done the stenciling on this card and it required no more coloring. It's been sitting since last year, lol.

This Splitcoaststamper sketch provided my layout design.
White 6x6" card base, purple shimmer card stock, Pink & Main plaid and check patterned papers, MFT piercing stitch die, doily from stash, Stamplorations wreath stencil colored with Distress Inks and rose gold metallic gel pen, Sizzix TH Thinlits Words dies, QK note dies and tag ties, music score washi tape/sequins/gems from stash
At Left: Music paper freebie from Lozzy@Nin's Papercrafting, cut with a Spellbinders Art Deco Fairmont Label die, then stippled with Distress Inks, and a Stamplorations sentiment die, cut from white card. It's like continuing the song lyrics from the card front kinda.
At Right: a Stamplorations sentiment stamped with Versafine Imperial Purple.
Back and front to show continuity. I have not added my siggie to the back yet because I think I may add another paper layer - the card base needs shoring up in the back a little to make it stiffer.
We'll see. 😊 I have time. 😊
Close up of the My Favorite Things piercing stitch die I used. They don't cut through, they just leave the stitching. I may put something like this on the card back. I've had this die and another set of piercers, for at least 2 years but hadn't used any of them. 😳 I also have some WRMK
And final view. Thanks for visiting and have a great day, XOX

MY CHALLENGE PLAYLIST:
I added a little round die cut tag
Paper, Stenciling, Inks, metallic paint, Texture, gems
Purples, a little green, gold gems

Aimeslee: Bless your heart!!! This beautiful card just made the deadline! Wow! And it is so pretty with the non-traditional color of purple. Christmas carol hymn sentiment is terrific too! Stencil along with other mixed media elements have come together for a fantastic wreath-themed Christmas card! Thanks for getting this linked! --Becca/MTTCC

I've got to keep up better during the week, but this past week I have been busy with "chores" so I'm behind on so many blogs. Once again I love the non-traditional Christmas colors. And your wreath. That is very clever. This is another beauty. Hope your week has gone well. Stay cool. Hugs-Erika

Another darling card. I love non traditional colours on a Christmas card and this just perfect. The musical notes looks pretty neat. I totally get not moving along on the DT especially with the pain you have.

I love the cool wonky stitching die, or whatever it's called. No, I didn't read your post very well, but I've got 2 cards to get made today, so am scrolling through your gorgeous photos! LOL. {{HUGS}}

Don’t you just love finding a beautiful, half-finished project in your stash. It feels so good to be able to complete it, at least to me. I love that MFT piercing die. I might have to track that one down for my ever growing die stash. I love the design of this card! The papers, the colors, the stamps, everything just works beautifully together. Thank you for sharing it and playing along with ABC Christmas Challenge ~ Wendy

Purple on a Christmas card--I LOVE IT!! I don't often use purple, especially on Christmas cards, but I should more often! Thanks for sharing this pretty card with us at ABC Christmas challenge, and good luck! 😊
