Happy Halloween Tag

Well, hello again! Sorry to have to post twice in one day but these darn challenges are sometimes too fast for me, lol. Today I'm popping in again real quick to share a home decor tag that I made to add to my home Halloween / Fall / Thanksgiving art.

This tag is 4x7". I did have some tags with that great scalloped top in my box, but I wanted some extra length. So I traced the scalloped top onto some thin chipboard I have recycled.

Here's a process shot to help me explain how I stamped this. The first thing I stamped was the graveyard you see behind the fence, using a Green Pepper Press stamp and Memento ink. Then I stamped a Lost Coast Bubbles Border stamp a few times to make the foreground. Lastly, I stamped a Technique Junkies background stamp called Sunset Tree. Then I colored the entire scene with Promarkers and clear and yellow Winks of Stella.

I added 2 bats cut out of black card stock using a Quickutz die. Then I got to work fussy cutting my Gecko Galz collage sheet images. I edged everything in black or grey and then arranged and adhered with glue stick. I edged the tag all around with a black Promarker chisel tip, then went around again with Midnight Black VersaMagic chalk ink direct to paper. Finally, I hole punched the scallop top with my Cropadile and tied some pieces of skinny black lace from my Mom's lace stash.

And a final view. Thanks for visiting me and I hope everyone has a good start to their week! Stay well and safe! XXO

MY CHALLENGE PLAYLIST:
1.   Tag Tuesday: Trees  ends 10/19
3.   MAWTT #123: Animals / Birds  ends 10/30 -- I have bats and a cat.
4.   Gecko Galz October Customer Blog Challenge: Happy Haunting  ends 10/29  -  The collage sheet images I used are from Halloween Night ; Vintage Halloween and Witching Hour.
5.   Lost Coast Portal to Creativity Oct. Challenge: 31 Days of Halloween  ends 10/31 -- I used LCD stamp Bubble Border for the ground and the entire background is hand stamped.
6.   Gecko Galz Facebook Challenge: Cute or Cuddly -- ends 10/31 See #4.
7.   The Artistic Stamper October Creative Challenge: Travel -- I traveled to a witch's pumpkin patch that borders a graveyard on Halloween Night. :-) -- it says we can interpret any way we want as long as I've hand-stamped rubber and I definitely have done that. Entire background is hand-stamped.

I finally got a chance to ge3t to visit my favorite blogs again. My spine has not been happy, unfortunately. I had to start pain medicine again. Hopefully, not for long. My husband thinks it makes my brain weird. That is actually just due to my age. I'm like that all the time. He just has something to blame it on right now. Wow, I haven't heard the term cropadile in ages. I have one. I guess I had forgotten about it. I could have used it yesterday. I have a handicap placard holder that the hanger broke off of and I was trying too figure out how to punch a hole in the plastic so I could put a hanger on it. That would have been ideal. Anyways, now on to the purpose of my visit. This is a wonderful tag. I love how you stamped it. I love how you colored the scene. The bubbles border is so perfect it almost looks like a paper. Great job fussy cutting. Marvelous decor item.

This is one terrific tag! Thank you for providing your process. I don't recognize the TJ stamp so clicked in the link. It's now in my wish list.

Lovely work, dear Aimslee but will be honest I do not like Halloween.. esp colours purple orange together.
