If you've been reading me then you know that I struggle with creating CAS cards. What's the old saying? You must do what you think you cannot do? "Hair of the Dog" or, as we say in Texas, "Dance with the one who brung ya." Every so often I need to make one and today was time again.
I've used the current Tuesday Morning Sketch #510. I have turned it sideways. I resized it in PSE to 5x7.
On the inside of my card, I used my new Cas-ual Fridays sentiment stamps plus an old Merry Christmas from Pink Persimmon. All stamped with Ranger Archival Leaf Green ink on a Basic Grey Dasher mat layer.
More of the same patterned Card stock on the back of my card. I have had a delicate light blue snowflake sticker in my stash for too long so I used it and layered on it my Spellbinders circle die cut stamped in the Leaf Green ink with a Gelatins siggie stamp.
The digi stamp had snow falling over and around the snow family so I extended the snow to each side edge. I colored first with a silver gel pen then covered each with a dot og Glossy Accents and let dry before coloring the sky. I used a Sugarloaf Bethlehem star stamped with Brilliance Galaxy Gold in the top right corner as the sketch's flower element. Then I outlined and coated the star with gel and glitter gel pens. I also outlined the scallop edges, the snowy ground, the cap fur and the muff with the glitter pens. I used both Tombow and ProMarkers to color the snow family.
Close-up to show the glitter and sparkle...
Closer...
And this shot to show the raised surface of the falling snow.
One final look at my card, hope you liked it! I really tried hard to restrain myself. It does feel like I am making baby step progress, but it's not my natural inclination at all.

7. A Bit More Time to Craft #95: Always AG
8. Sparkles Monthly #117: No Patterned Paper - I assume that's on the card front. I used patterned card stock inside and on back, so please disqualify me if I assumed wrong, thanks!

That will do it for me for now. Next up will be an 8x8 Deco to commemorate 9/11 for my home decorations (requested by Honey). I'll take a little rest and then time to make more donuts! winkwink
Until then, keep it crafty! XOX
