It's time for the October-November challenge at Beautiful Blossoms Challenge Blog.

This is the optional Mood Board for the current challenge.
I decided to use Mums as my flowers and went with the Mood Board's colors plus a few of the other items.
And here is my Design Team Inspiration make.
I began this 8x8" deco with a digital image by Conie Fong Art called Sweet Autumn Kitty. I resized it in PSE, added the sentiment with the Text Tool and printed it out on white card stock. I colored it with alcohol markers and colored pencils, accenting with glitter markers. I stamped, die cut and colored several mums using Hero Arts Stamp and Cut Floral Mum set and arranged pieces of them around the edges. I stippled Fossilized Amber Distress Ink around the image. I added a few Sizzix/TH gear die cuts that had been cut from gold watercolored card from a previous project. I also added some dots made with Nuvo Crystal Drops and Viva Decor Pearl Paint Pens. The focal image was bordered with gold Victorian Scrap and adhered to a larger piece of dark red card to finish.
My Hero Arts Floral Mum Stamp and Cut set and TH/Sizzix Gearhead dies that I used.

This makes a very nice Halloween / Autumn seasonal display item on my foyer table.
(We don't really have Autumn weather until after Halloween down here.)

Hi Aimeslee, thank you for sharing this beautiful autumnal 'in gear' piece of art in your journal. I've been thinking about how I can incorporate some pumpkins into a page and you have done it and come up with a beautiful page.
I love the kitty and the witches hat, the latter looks fabulous with the mums and your pumpkin is adorable. You have so many things in there I have thought of and not managed to incorporate into a design, this is fabulous. Thank you it's just up my street (saying in the UK).

This is a really lovely autumn piece Aimeslee, and I love how you added in the gears. Time's gears for 2023 are ranking along, aren't they? And is that gold metallic trim along the inner edge? I like that addition. I love those metallic trims, but they are hard to find now. I guess art supplies go in and out of style too. And the main image with the pumpkin, kitty and hat are perfect. This is a really pretty piece for your display area. And lucky you to see the ring of fire. We didn't see any of the eclipse yesterday. We had headed into the mountains and there were high clouds. Oh well, we get a full eclipse next April. No ring of fire though. I hope you are having a super weekend. hugs-Erika

I love the scene you've created, especially that little cat peeping behind - just a hint of Autumn/Hallowe'en which I'm sure does look lovely on your table.
