Hello!
Today I want to wish my sweet blogging friend Donna a Happy Birthday.
This is the card I sent her.
As I've said before, I've been trying to incorporate Autumn into my birthday cards.
I feel like if you have an Autumn birthday, you have double the reason to celebrate!
The card's background was stenciled using this Echo Park Leaves stencil on white card and various colors of Distress Inks.
I cut the background with a Spellbinders Nested Art Deco Fairmont Labels die and layered it onto some purple KI Memories card and a bright orange KI two-tone 6x6 card base. I used a stamped, die cut and colored Hero Arts Floral Mum that I had leftover from a previous project, along with a stamped, die cut and colored Sizzix Happy Fall pumpkin grouping and leaves grouping, all on white card using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I used Promarkers and a little colored pencil for coloring. Then I used some Fallen Leaves Versafine Clair ink to stamp the Impression Obsession and Hero Arts sentiments.
I composed the inside sentiments in PSE, printed out on yellow paper, cutting it with the Spellbinders Art Deco die and layering on the inside of the card base (which is a two-tone card stock and a lighter orange inside).
On back, I used a piece of Kaisercraft Homemade collection paper that has some embossed flowers on it, cutting it with the Spellbinders die again and layering on some yellow KI Memories card and then onto the card base. I added the stamped and punched siggie colored with Promarkers.

Donna has received it and liked it very much.
