Hey there, hope your Wednesday is going well.
Here's a whimsical scene card full of die cuts, leaves and plaid!
And since I am so wanting it to be Fall down here, I enjoyed making this way too much, even if there was too much gluing!
So, I chose this Splitcoaststampers sketch for the hilly ground lines, but resized it to 6x6.
I show the photo I took before layering on the rest of the die cuts because you can see the stenciling. I kept telling myself to take the photo before the bike went on but I also kept forgetting.
Anyway, the sketch was followed.

One of my nieces asked for a scenery card, so this is hers. She and my nephew have hunting dogs that love leaf piles in the Fall, so I had to include one with the leaves. I scattered them on up into the sky with the dog watching them. The stamped and die cut Impression Obsession bike has a basket of tiny leaves and flower die cuts and die cut Amazon balloons attached by string.
I used colored pencils to color the bike, basket, tree and balloons before brushing the balloons with clear Wink of Stella liquid glitter.
While I used scraps of patterned paper for the hills (cut with a Lawn Fawn border die), I got a wild idea to use the bright pink and yellow Lawn Fawn diagonal plaid paper for the sky and just went with the idea. It's a whimsical scene, after all.
Inside, stamped Lawn Fawn and Clearly Besotted sentiments.
The back, with papers from the same LF collection and same card stock as on front with my usual stamped and punched siggie.
Detail of the leaf stenciling and ink distressing, using Echo Park's Fall Harvest stencil and Distress Inks.
Impression Obsession sentiment die cut, MFT stamped and white heat-embossed sentiment cut with the set's die, QK tree die cut, Art Impressions dog mini-die cut and the many different leaf die cuts from Spellbinders, QK and Amazon brands.

Well, I much prefer Autumn because it's such a relief from our coastal Texas summer heat, when Autumn finally arrives which is usually late October. I cannot wait to say, It's Fall Y'all!

What a cute autumn card Aimeslee. I love that petty plaid (I am a big plaid fan), and you even included a Mr. Pete puppy standing on the leaves (smile). This is a happy card. And thanks for that link to that blog-The Eyewall. Wow, it's a great site. We are definitely going to get some wind and some more rain. No boat rides this weekend with the surf either-smile. Oh well. A whimsical scene indeed! And Bam, right in my face colour. I couldn't love this card any more! Love, love the brightly coloured plaid. That dog is so thoughtful since the recipient has hunting dogs. LOL. Aimes, you knocked this one out of the park!

Wow, what a fabulous card, you really put a lot on here! My dog always loved rolling in the piles of leaves along our way, and I like kicking up the leaves when I walk along, just like a child!
