Hope you're all doing well and having some fun.
While our daughter was growing up, we had pet dachshunds. They both lived long lives and we were heartbroken when they passed. Doxies remain ever-adorable and much loved in my heart. So when I saw this Penny Black stamp set, I had to get it.
I was looking for a sketch that had a descent line for the bike ride and found this one. Bonus points for the vertical element that matched the stamp set's big sentiment and the smaller element for the set's little tree. I resized the sketch larger to create more white space for my CAS design.
I used watercolor paper for my card front and stamped the 3 images with Nocturne Versafine Clair ink. Then I used my watercolors to paint them and the scene. I added glitter accenting with my Sakura gel pens and snow with a white Posca paint pen.
