Co-Coa-Co Merry Christmas

 Happy Monday, everyone.
Hope your week has begun well.
Last night, I looked at the date and realized there are only 6 more 25ths of the month before Christmas Day, so I decided to make a couple of Christmas cards because I'm about 10 behind where I wanted to be at this point. So I got a couple of pre-coloured images printed out and then we lost electrical power for a few hours! Ugh, this extended heat dome we are under is beginning to fry transformers here and there. So now I'm "sweating" early tropical storm activity and an overheated electrical grid. That generator cannot get installed quick enough, but it could take up to 6 weeks for the gas company to approve a second dedicated meter and that's the end of July.
😩Sheesh!😩
Precolored Digi: The Paper Shelter "There's a Penguin in my Cocoa"
Die: 6x6 Spellbinders Art Deco Fairmont
Stamps: Stamplorations
Card stocks, ribbon, gel pens, Stickles, Snowflake sequins
I cut the red layer with the Spellbinders die. I stamped a Stamplorations sentiment at top left of image at an angle and clear heat-embossed it. I used multiple colors of Sakura gel pens to outline and color the background of the image and the tree, eyes and beak. I coated the cocoa in the cup with some clear Nuvo Glaze. I coated the penguin's hat fur with some Frosted Lace Stickles. I added some satin ribbon at two opposite corners.
Inside, another Stamplorations stamped sentiment.
The back, using the same card stock mats as the front with a scrap strip and siggie.

Angled close-ups to try to show the shine and glitter.
And final look. It's a humorous image, so we can send to one of the men on our Christmas list.
👀
Thanks for visiting and have a good evening.

What a fun card! I love the frame you chose, and I'm so impressed with the effort you've gone to, in such horrible heat! Thanks for sharing this with us at The Paper Shelter!

Well done on getting such a fun and beautiful card made in spite of the heat! What a pity you cant get the installation finished for so many weeks. It's still hot here, very hot, I hope it will cool off, I just want to sleep! Keep cool, hugs, Valerie

This is so adorable my friend. I love your little penguin and his cup of hot cocoa. That little guy just might want to stay in the south pole since Texas and California are too hot now. Seriously though, your gas company sounds like our power/gas company.
