Happy Monday, hope all is well with you.
I have a very simple CAS Christmas card to share today. I stamped the Creative Expressions Follow The Star DL stamp with Versamark on deep blue linen-textured card stock, then heat-embossed with white powder. Trimmed it down and layered it on a white Recollections card stock base.
Inside, I used Blue Belle Versafine Clair ink to stamp these Hero Arts sentiments.
My stamped and circle-punched siggie on a thin strip from the front. Simple.
A couple of close up shots to show the white embossing powder on the Quickutz linen-textured card stock. Even after liberally applying the anti-static powder, lots of stray powder but you know, I brushed off what I could and just went with it. I actually think it looks pretty good in a rustic way or like it's stamped on linen, which it kinda is.
😉
And one last look.

Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day!

Love the white-on-blue combo, Aimeslee! And the linen texture gives it an old-world feel, which is perfect.

The white embossing looks so nice on the blue background, such a lovely Christmas image. The "extra" white creates a nice feeling of snow and cold, love it! Thanks for sharing with us at Krafty Chicks!

A beautiful CAS Christmas card, the white embossing looks lovely on the textured blue cardstock, the 'stray' powder looks like part of the design.

I just love the look of the three kings white embossed on the vibrant blue background Aimeslee, the contrast is wonderful. x
I'm commenting on the TIOT blog this time. I somehow missed this pretty holiday card. Blue and white are just lovely together. I like the stray powder as it almost makes the sky more like a Van Gogh sky. It's a beauty, and thank you for sharing it with us at AJJ. hugs-Erika
