Hey there! Hope you are all okay.
A new challenge begins at Beautiful Blossoms Challenge until June 12.
Flowers must be the feature of your creation.
Here is the optional mood board for you:
And here is my design team inspiration make. I made a 7x7-inch art journal deco home decor piece. I began with a cardboard piece with a waxed coating that I was able to tear most of off, leaving a very pulp rough surface. It reminded me of stucco. I was going for a Mexican vibe, inspired by the challenge mood board's colors, flowers and the lady wearing a floral head dress.
After water painting a very faint peach color on the entire surface, I used a Funky Fossil stencil and some brown Ranger Archival ink to create the woman's face. Then I stippled a very light yellow Ranger Archival ink around her and applied some pink ink to her cheeks and lips and eyelids. I die cut the Memory Box floral corners and Momenta flowers, then colored them all with Promarkers and layered onto the piece. Each of the large flower centers are clear flat-back jewels that I colored black with a Promarker. I added a strip of washi on one side and black lace at top and bottom. I found some TH Big Chat words and added them to finish.
One last look.

Come join us with a floral make of your own!
Take care and thanks for the visit.

MY CHALLENGE PLAYLIST
I made this for me and I'm a Mom 😁
Left Column Down - Flowers / Ribbon / Bling
Nature inspired me with flowers, which always lift my mood. And I realize that since I've begun playing in your challenges, I've been sending more positive messages in my art! So while I did this piece for my design team make at Beautiful Blossoms, I chose to create a beautiful dreamer image because sleep and dreams make us more content and healthy. 💖

Thank you so much for sharing with us at Allsorts challenge as well as Four Seasons challenge!
You definitely got that stucco look to the background and it did have a Mexican feel to it. It is gorgeous with the flowers, I am in awe of the die cuts that you colored and the clear jewels you colored. That was definitely a tip I will remember. Pretty black lace, too. Thanks for this amazing entry using your theme at AJJ, dear Aimeslee.

I'm home and trying to do a bit of catch up. I think I've missed several of your posts, but I'm sticking to my "required" commenting right now. Oh that sounds terrible doesn't it? Required is not a fun word. Smile. This face is so lovely. I can tell the background does look like stucco. That is a cool face stencil too. I haven't seen this one. You accented her perfectly with the flowers too. I hope this week is treating you well. Hugs-Erika
I guess I have too much catching up to do- big smile- but I just noticed you joined us at TIOT also. Thank you for linking up there also. hugs-Erika
