Have a Colorful Christmas

Happy Saturday and April Fool's Day!

All foolin' aside, I have a rainbow-themed card to share today. I went with the colors of the rainbow. I stenciled the background using Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide ink and Spectrum Noir Glitter Pens. I used a Newton's Nook 2-step stencil called Light String Set. I colored my focal image with Promarkers and Sakura Stardust glitter pens after fussy cutting it. The image is Cup of Cheer from Gracielle Designs. I created the sentiment in PSE. I also used the DOX ink to ink blend some white card to use as a bottom mat for the card front and the sentiment. I embellished the card with a few round and star-shaped sequins, then dotted their centers with a gold Viva Decor Pearl Pen.

Thanks for visiting and have a great start to the new month!

I love this! The rainbow colors are so pretty! Again, you come up with so many creative ideas. I have fallen quite far behind in my Christmas cards. I already have enough for this year anyways. Birthday cards is what I am really short on. Have a wonderful day!

Good morning, Aimslee! 💙🍪💙 this card! It reminds me of Epcot's Holiday Cookie Stroll (https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/epcot/holiday-cookie-stroll) during Christmas. 😁 There are so many different theme parks and festivals at them that most of our creativity can be related back to something. I'd love for you to join us at Park Hopping, My Happy Place. Have a creative week. Stay cool! Join at https://parkhoppingmyhappyplace.com/ . Cheers, Makira

Your collages always tell the bestest of stories, Aimes. I love that this sparkly, colorful, Celebration of Christmas traditions, brings out the best of the fun holidays! I can smell the cocoa, the sugar cookies, relive the decorating of food and home... I can hear laughter and excitement in the background - how wonderful! Wishing you many more colorful days, my friend!

Awesome!!!! I have that Gracielle Design image and haven't used it yet. Think I need to print it out asap! Your background paper is fabulous and ties in not only the theme, but colors as well. Thanks for the inspiration today my friend.

This is a fun card Aimeslee. I like how it doesn't feel like Christmas (ie-red and green), and except for the snowflake, it could be just a good cup of cheer card. and those colors of of the lights are great. I hope you had a nice start to the month and no April's food tricks. Hugs-Erika
