Hi Ho, Blogging Friends! Hope your first March weekend's going well.
I'm guest designing for The Fairy and The Unicorn Challenge and the theme is always Anything Fantasy Goes. I have the CAS-ual Fridays Be A Unicorn stamp and die sets (and have never used), so I decided to make a rainbow unicorn birthday card to usher in St. Patty's and Spring!

I chose this Splitcoaststampers sketch for my layout design, but when I looked at the sketch, I kept seeing a tent fold card front cut off under the fold and supported by Element 3 when stood up. (I also ended up flipping the sketch horizontally and resizing it to 6x6 to better accommodate my materials.) So that's what I attempted and I'm pretty thrilled that I pulled it off to be honest, lol. This is the card closed. I call it a Downward-Facing Dutch Door Fun Fold. 😃

Then, when you open it, it looks like this. I simply arranged the CAS-ual Fridays sentiments so they were hidden by the card front. I used the stitched cloud border die to cut the purple mat on the bottom half of the card. I left a space at top right to sign the card.
The back of the card has more of the designer paper and a stamped and circle-punched siggie.
One last look, showing the rainbow glitter colors on the unicorn and the rainbow die. Sometimes I get the craziest ideas. Glad this one actually worked!

What a cool unicorn card! I'm so bummed that CAS-ual Fridays closed. Chalk another one up to the pandemic - bummer!! I really love all of the little details you added to the card. You're certainly braver than me. I have a hard time making "fun-fold" cards so I rarely do them anymore. Have a great rest of your weekend my friend.
