It's Merry Little Christmas Challenge Time!

Hiho and Welcome! Hope everyone is well.
It's time for a new challenge at the Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog and I'm sharing my design team make. I made a 6x6" card using a green Bazzill card base, SU and Bazzill mats and The Paper Studio's Rustic Wilderness designer papers, which I edge distressed with an edge distresser tool.

I used this Splitcoaststampers sketch for my layout design, but resized it to 6x6 in PSE. I liked how the design of the sketch divides the tree paper into 4ths and intersects with the focal diamond square. Reminds me of patchwork and I think lends a homespun look that goes well with the rustic papers I chose.
I've used a pre-coloured printable from a Jan's Digi Stamps set called Over the River. I framed it in PSE before printing on Springhill Digital card. I cut it out with deco scissors and then ink-distressed it.
At left is the pre-coloured printable as it printed out, after I framed it in PSE and added one of the sentiments in the set. At right shows the ink stippling I did to accent the image and outer edge of frame, using Antique Linen and Rustic Wilderness Distress Inks.
Another sheet of The Paper Studio papers matted with Kraft card and an I/O siggie stamped with Green Oasis Versafine Clair ink and heat-embossed.
And final view. Thanks for the visit and have a great day, XXO.

What a fun combination of elements on your fab card; I also absolutely love the way you always decorate the insides and backs of your cards, it's like extra eye candy for your lucky recipients! Another great addition to our Vintage Wonderland gallery at Jingle Belles!

Nice card and nice sketch Aimeslee.
Unfortunately, the card cannot compete for the prize. We don't work with digis on our challenge blog. Sorry, but see you next card.
