Hello again, hope all is well with you. I am still plugging away, slowly reducing my pile of projects I planned out and then never got to.
Today I have a card made using a Gecko Galz image of 2 cute vintage scottie dogs and a Scribbles candy cane digi that I made a flipped copy of in PSE to make 2 of them.
I chose this Splitcoaststampers sketch for my layout design, resizing to A7.
White card base, black Bazzill textured card stock for matting, plaid paper is Tim Holtz Idealogy, striped paper is Autumn Leaves. I added a red satin ribbon across it and vintage black photo corners to the base mat and focal image. I printed the candy canes on Springhill Digital, colored them with Promarkers and Sakura rose gold shadow metallic pen, then fussy cut. I add stamped Lawn Fawn and Colorado Craft Company sentiments to the focal image, black Promarker edging, 2 red punched stars and rose gold shadow metallic gel penning on the snowflakes.
I created and printed my computer-generated sentiment on Springhill Digital, added green Promarker edging and layered it on a few scraps leftover from the front.
The back has more of the Autumn Leaves paper on a black Bazzill mat and a stamped and punched siggie.
Checking my front-to-back continuity...
Close-up to show the Sakura rose gold shadow gel penning on the focal image and the candy canes.
Here's the original image. You can see how I changed it.
And final view. Thanks so much for your visit today and think cooling thoughts! XOX

Those pups are so adorable. I must say, this is my favorite of your holiday cards. OK, so I am partial to dogs (and cats too), and these 2 are very cute. I also like the plaid and the black photo corners. You always make the best cards. Hope all is well and happy weekend. Hugs-Erika
Aw, such cute doggoes! Love them in their holiday duds, lol. Your rich colors are perfect for them, too, very yummy! Thanks so much for playing at Sparkles!
Hi Aimes, I'm back after my break, but I'm sorry I can't comment on each post, however I have to say I love this card, those doggies are so cute and so is the card, your blue poinsettia is gorgeous, the little girl cat in the snow is so adorable and the inserts and backs as usual are just perfect for each card. I also have to comment on your beautiful garden and cacti, looks like you chose plants that are easy to look after, SO sensible when things are not easy to do in the garden. They look good.
Hope all is well and Arfur is behaving?

Hi Aimeslee! Thanks so much for your lovely comment on my blog! I'm glad there was a link so I could drop by and visit yours. Wow, I can't believe the inside and even back of your card! Once I get the front done, I don't have any steam left for the inside and back. I love that SC244. It's very versatile isn't it? And you really rocked it with this adorable image and all those lovely layers. Now next time I visit I want to see some foiling!! You'll end up as addicted as I am....

Very cute card. I love the plaid paper but what I love best is your colouring and the way you shaded behind the dogs. Whoever gets this card sure is lucky!
