Happy FriYay, everyone. Hope your week went well. The new meds are kicking my arss but I just try to keep calm and good-humored. One week down, seven to go. 😑😝
I had Starstampz's "Kimono Portrait" digital image sized, printed and papers picked out, so I found a sketch and made this card. Basic Grey Euphoria collection papers and KIMemories purple card stock.
I used SSW2's current Sketch #227, turning it sideways to better accommodate my image.
I used Spellbinders 6x6 Square Nested Card Basics large and Small dies and their oval and scalloped oval dies and squalloped square die to cut all mats. I used SB circle and scalloped circle to cut the and frame the Wild Rose Studio stamped sentiment. Oh, and MFT scalloped photo corner die. A few green sequins to finish. The focal image coloring is explained next.
First I colored her face/skin, hair and shoes with Promarkers. Then I got out my Distress Ink reinkers and water colored with them. Then embellished here and there with Sakura Starlight gel pens after adhering her to the oval mat. Her eyes are dotted white with a white gel pen. I added 3 Rubbernecker Tiny Butterflies die cuts.
Close up of the focal image. Hopefully you can see the glittery shimmer.
The inside and back. Inside are Clearly Besotted and HOTP birthday sentiments stamped with Versafine Clair purples. On back more BG Euphoria pp on KI Memories card stock and a stamped and punched and water colored Technique Tuesday/Sweet Stamp Shop siggie.
And a final view. Thanks for visiting me and have a great evening.
