Happy New Week and I hope everyone is well. I have finally begun to feel better but another cold front is on the way. I'll be a pain yo-yo until warmer weather takes hold for the year.
This is my design team sample make for the current Outlawz Festive Friday Challenge which runs until March 17th. Our sponsor is Lee Holland Art and we were generously provided with digital stamps to use. I colored up Elephant with Flowers with Promarkers.
At left are the current challenge themes. I chose Birthday and the Color Purple. I also chose Splitcoaststampers sketch SC253 to use as my layout design.
I used SU card stock and designer papers from the 12x12" DCWV Collage Art Stack collection. I used my WRMK corner rounder on the paper layers. The matted side triangles were made from Sweet n Sassy Shape Dies and cut in half. The white die cut flowers were made with Rubbernecker dies. I used MFT Electric Red ink to stamp the top Chicken Girl sentiment and the bottom Crafty Secrets sentiment. I colored the purple ribbon's edging with a Sakura Gold Shadow gel pen after coloring the image with Promarkers.
Inside, a mashup of Clear Dollar and Woodware sentiments.
On back, more of the papers from the front and a square-punched stamped Impression Obsession siggie.
A close-up to show the metallic shine on the ribbon edge, done with gel pens, and the glittered edging of the focal image and flower centers, done with Tickled Pink Stickles.
