I apologize in advance but I am under the challenge deadline gun. Had this card finished day before yesterday, but not photographed or blogged. Then my eye accident happened and last night and today I've been having problems focussing. Our optometrist said after calling him today to give it a few more days and come in if it doesn't resolve. Meanwhile, Honey is having to be my photographer and this is not his forte'. So I got him to take a few shots of the card front and feel fortunate they came out focussed!
My layout design - Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2's Challenge Sketch 217 from 2021. I originally chose this sketch to be able to use my Sizzix Tim Holtz On the Edge Drips border die, which is dripping blood. But I cannot find it! I know I used it in 2019. 😖😕
6x6" card base was cut from a sheet of black 12x12" Making Memories smooth card stock. Designer papers are from American Crafts Spooky Boo and Memory Box Nightfall 6x6" collections. Center focal image is a Gecko Galz collage sheet image. I've stamped the Crafty Secrets Trick or Treat sentiment and the Pink By Design Jeepers Creepers sentiments in Onyx Versafine ink. I used a Quickutz Ghost die to cut the ghosts. I used a Spellbinders die to cut the black flourish element at the top of the focal image. I used Sizzix Tim Holtz On the Edge Pennants and Twigs border dies to cut the horizontal strips that go across under the ghosts. I used VersaMagic chalk ink to ink distress the paper mat layers and the top Pennant strips. The inside says Happy Halloween and the back is matted with more of the collection paper and a stamped siggie (not shown).
Wow, this was a lot easier creating this post. I'm thinking I'll go this way from now on...or try to! heehee For now, for sure until my eye is back to normal. Thanks for visiting and have a great evening! xoxo
