Hello again. Just popping in to share another "cuppa" Christmas card before challenges expire.
Is this an adorable snowman or what? He's the creation of the late Faith Skrdla who owned From The Heart Stamps. She died in 2017 and every year I make sure to use at least one of her digis. Today I used Snowman and Cocoa:
Faith was a very nice woman and I miss her. This card is dedicated to her memory.
For my layout, I used the current Cheerful Sketch challenge sketch, turning it 180 degrees around, as I thought the snowflakes (instead of stars) should be above his head. I resized to 6x6" also.
Flourishes sentiments stamped with Memento Bahama Blue ink on SU blue card on mystery designer paper.
More mystery designer paper from my pile and a siggie stamped with Memento Bahama Blue ink.
A close-up to show the glitter and shine. I colored him with Promarkers and also the sky. I applied Arctic Ice Stickles to the perimeter of the focal image. I added metallic glitter gel pen to the steam from his drink and to the little drawn snowflakes, along with white gel pen. I used black glaze gel pen on his drink and clear Wink of Stella on all the die cut MFT snowflakes. There's a Spellbinders Square die cut peeking out (Fair Isle Pendant) from underneath him. I realized too late that I should have done my old trick of cutting it in quarters and then I could have set each quarter under the image corners and shown more of it. Oh well, hopefully I'll remember the next time. 😏
I stamped the Stamplorations sentiment in Versamark and heat-embossed with white powder. I cut it with a Lawn Fawn banner flag die and added 2 of the smallest die cut snowflakes brushed with clear Wink of Stella. That shot was taken in lower light so the color is off.
