Happy Hump Day and time for a new Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Click HERE to find out how to play the challenge! My design team make uses our sponsor Createful Heart Designs' digital image Bear Buddies. I smile every time I look at these cute animals. The penguin looks like she is leading a cheer, so I had to use that sentiment. 😍
Here is my design. I've used Lawn Fawn's 6x6 Really Rainbow Christmas papers. I colored my focal image with Promarkers and a metallic glitter gel pen. It was cut using Spellbinders Classic Scallops die. Underneath it is a mat cut using a Spellbinders Labels 10 die.
Here is the sketch for this challenge. I turned it 90 degrees to the left to better accommodate my image.
The vertical zig zag element was cut using an MFT chevron stripe die. Both blue strips were pierced for faux stitching using my Fiber Friend ruler and an awl. I drew the stitches with my metallic glitter.gel pen. I also traced around the chevron strips with the gel pen. The Corning Heritage Farms sentiment was stamped with Versamark and then heat-embossed with Ranger Lemon Yellow embossing powder. I used the gel pen to color in some of the letters. I punched 2 snowflakes out of platinum silver card to embellish per the sketch.
Inside the card at the top and bottom, I used the leftover pieces from die cutting the chevron stripe. I stamped a Stamplorations sentiment with Versafine ink.
