Happy November 1st! Time for me to share my design team make for Love To Craft November Anything Goes Challenge #64.
I needed to make a Thanksgiving card and I thought I'd try combining items from the bits and bobs and snippets and leftovers in my Thanksgiving box. This is the result. The start of it was a 4x6 glossy card I'd sponged on Distress inks and then die cut leaves from it. I pulled that out, ran it through my Xyron, adhered it to a piece of Basic Grey Recess (the scratchy plaid), then I brushed on Metallic Gold Pearl-Ex, smooshing it into the edges of the leaf negatives, where it stayed because of the Xyron adhesive. Then I sprayed it with a sealer. That formed my base mat to which I added a vertical SU orange card, a strip of the BG and two rows of satin ribbon. I added a tag I've had forever and arranged 3 MAMBI picnic food stickers at the bottom of it. I also added the collage sheet image after hand-stamping October Afternoon Blessings sentiment with Rhubarb Memento ink. Finally, I added sequins and rhinestone gems.
I used Splitcoaststampers Sketch SC57 for my overall design.
Here's a shot showing all the shiny in the light.
I left the inside blank as I am hand writing a message. The back has more of that scratchy plaid and a hand-stamped Technique Tuesday siggie on SU orange card and circle punched.
And a final view. Thanks so much for dropping by and until next time, stay well and be crafty, XOX
