Hello! I hope everyone is well and enjoying some good Spring weather! Today I have a birthday card to share for someone who has touched me lately with his support to others, so I tried to make his birthday card also a subtle tribute to his caring about others.
The hand-stamped sentiment is an old Autumn Leaves stamp, but the hand-stamped lighthouse and the anchor and birds stencils are Stamplorations. I used a beautiful blue SU card stock for my card base and matting along with white Springhill Digital card stock.
The sentiment and its mat were cut with Spellbinders Circle Nestie dies. I used Versafine Clair inks for the stamping. I stenciled the birds with Hickory Smoke Distress ink and the anchors with Seascape Palette Hybrid ink. I got a little artsy here with those anchors, using them abstractly for the sky and sea.
I used this SplitCoastStampers sketch SC49 resized to 5x7" in PSE. It had a nice place for the lighthouse and is a good sketch for CAS, which is the style I was going for.
On the inside of my card, I've matted it with papers from Webster's Pages 6x6 Yacht Club designer paper pad. I've also hand-stamped some sentiments using Versafine Clair ink -- a Red Rubber Designs sentiment on the left and on the right sentiments by Hot Off The Press and Clear Dollar Stamps.
I took the two vertical strips I cut from the inside papers and pieced them together to mat the back of the card, adding my hand-stamped Lawn Fawn siggie.
And a final view. I appreciate you stopping by and hope your day goes your way! Don't forget to shine your light! XOX

15. PINspirational Challenge #277 May -- #1/5 I was inspired by the photo's clean structural lines/shapes and I focussed on the black, white, blue, gray colors; also, my card's secondary message after birthday is shining a light and the luminating glow in the photo remind me of this. 16. Creatalicious Challenge #210: AG + Opt. Things with Wings -- #1/3 Option played - stenciled birds

A very nice masculine card. The colours are perfect. I love nautical cards and am working on something similar now. The blending of the anchors into the main image is wonderful. So talented. The inside is just as beautiful. Once again, you rocked my world.
Thank you for joining Allsorts challenge with this entry, good luck.

Such a great card and wonderful stamping. Thanks for joining our Pearly Sparkles Challenge.
This is such a wonderful card for a male birthday. I didn't realize the lighter blue stenciled images on the top of the card were anchors. I assumed they were birds. I guess I should have my glasses on to see fine detail. Th inside of the card is gorgeous.
so pretty...great inspired card.
