Happy Sunday! I am popping in real quick to post this Christmas card. I'm still struggling with my mojo and health issues. Everything is taking me 5 times longer, but I did get this UFAP finished - yay, lol.
The SU card base and Stamplorations angel die cut from gold card scrap were left over from this card. I used more Doodlebug sugar-coated glitter card, this time a shade darker and I'm happy because it holds up better against the gold, I think. I stamped the Stamplorations poinsettias multiple times with VersaMark and heat embossed with gold powder. Then I used my good water colors on the flower pedals and Promarkers on the leaves before fussy cutting and layering. Some shimmery gold organza ribbon complements the bouquet. I added pearl dots to the centers of the poinsettias with gold and lilac Viva Decor Pearl Pens. I added 5 tiny glass rhinestones to the angel's halo.

ReplyDeleteHello Aimeslee...I thought I would drop by and ask how you are.
ReplyDeleteI see by your blog post you are just about managing to craft. I feel you, if it wasn't for the pieces I make as part of the design teams I am on, I don't think I would get any crafting done.
I hope you pick up again soon, meanwhile please know I often think of you.
Take care my friend xx
Hope you are on the mend. Lovely artwork! You are really ahead of the rest. All the best.
ReplyDeleteHi Aimeslee, This is a lovely card and the poinsettia look gorgeous embossed in gold and well done on having a few cards ready for Christmas.
