Time to Groove

Hey There! How's your week been? I am looking forward to Saturday when I celebrate my 64th and my 16th birthdays. HUH? Yup, I'm a Leap Year baby, vintage 1956. I'm on the lookout for a music video of a mash-up of When I'm 64 and Sixteen Candles. If you run across one, let me know. ;-)

So, to give myself a little present, I printed out some digital stamps to color from Gecko Galz' Zentangles Set. I love to color. All of this Coronavirus news is making me a tad nervous and worried, so coloring has been a blessing.  The card I'm sharing today features the first image I completed, so I made it a birthday card since I always need them.

PaperBabe's current challenge is a sketch. I made sure to round my card corners and stamped some splatter (Inkadinkado stamps and Hero Arts Neon ink). I added a sentiment using Cosmo Cricket Tiny Alpha stickers and a flower sequin and Liqud Pearls center. The image was colored with ProMarkers and metallic gel pens on top for shimmer and shine accents
I used a sheet from Cosmo Cricket Summer Love collection and cut it in two to line the inside after rounding the corners. I stamped sentiments by Hero Arts and Deep Red Stamps.
A simple stamped Lawn Fawn siggie on the back of this card...
Close-up to catch the metallics...
Another...
And another...
I don't have any colored examples for these images, so I truly had to wing it. That also means I had the freedom to wing it. It sure was relaxing and actually took much less time than I thought it would.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a good weekend. I will be partying! WooHoo!!! :-))))

Love, love, love... the card and your birthday humor! Have to admit that the coronavirus has me a little worried too. Your coloring is wonderful, as usual, and your card design is amazing. Have fun partying this weekend and be safe! ;)

A burst of colorful fun! Just like you, Aimes! I don't know of a mash of those two song themes, but would love to hear one! Leave it to you to be born on leap year LOL Then again, it's nice being perpetually young! Of course, you would be that without being born on leap year. Fabulous card - "grooooov-ie!", as I wave the peace sign with my fingers toward TX. I think most of us are somewhat apprehensive about the Coronavirus, and hoping it does not turn into another pandemic Influenza outbreak in 1918. Keeping busy is a good thing - especially to help you make more cards to send to friends! LOL xx
