Happy Sunday!
Hope all is well with you and yours.
I had my tests done and nothing bad showed up, thank goodness.
But later in the week, something happened to my computer and it did some very weird stuff, mainly my inbox emails just vanished, and it has begun freezing up, so it looks like Santa's bringing me a new desktop for Christmas. Or maybe after Christmas because I don't really want to deal with that right now, lol. And then we are having some ceiling repairs done this week. We had an air conditioning wall vent put in our living room/den a while back because that room wasn't getting cool enough. But then it made it too cool and the other rooms past that one hot. So we are having the original ceiling vent taken out and the ceiling re-sheetrocked and painted after they fill the hole. Everything in there has to be covered and some furniture moved around.
Then, after I clean up the dust, I'll be decorating for Christmas.
The theme this week at SPA is Mistletoe and is hosted by Deann.
The cute lil gal is an Artistic Outpost stamp.
The sentiment is a My Favorite Things stamp, as is the mistletoe and bow dies.
The background is ink blended with Salty Ocean DI and stenciled with titanium white acrylic paint.
I added 3 pink plastic snowflakes.

Here's another Christmas card. I used a red Cardstock Warehouse card base and mats, Chloe's Closet designer papers, Sizzix Sizzlits alpha dies and Making Memories alpha stickers. I used some red and green punched circles found in my stash.
And here's the Splitcoaststampers sketch I used.

And before I take all this down to put up Christmas, I remembered to take a photo of my Autumn banner that I made. I'm making one for each of the four seasons, pretty much the exact same way but with different papers. Since Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer all have six letters each, the easiest thing is to use the same dies and construction method. Something I've wanted to do for awhile, but finally getting a round tuit, heehee.
😁
That's all from me today.
Thanks for the visit and I hope your week ahead is a good one.

Hope your health continues to be good, Aimeslee. Your cards are both so lovely, with so many little details to look at. I do hope all of the work on your home finishes on time and to your satisfaction. We have some repairs and setup stuff going on too, and it feels like these things are always on, so whatever breaks we get, we accept gratefully, lol... Your seasonal banners is a brilliant idea, and your Autumn looks so good! Looking forward to the rest. :) Anita xx
I like this week's cards, and I have that same little artistic Outpost girl. She's a cutie, and I'm glad you reminded me about her. And I like your fireplace. In same ways it reminds me of mine, although they aren't the same. Perhaps it's the textures and the height. Your banner looks great, and that's a good idea to do one for each season. It sounds like you have quite a project going on through, not huge but enough to require some covering and cleaning. I hope you show your holiday decorations once you're done. By the way, my fireplace will be pictured in tonight's T day post of mine, but stop by only if you're interested. Hope the heat doesn't last, because that's pretty warm for December. hugs-Erika
Two very beautiful and festive Christmas cards here! Love the way you've used the sketch for your JOY card! Hope you're able to find a nice computer for yourself! Your Autumn banner is stunning!
Such lovely work you have created, Great job. Have a wonderful Holiday Season.
Love that JOY card - so fun! The autumn banner is a fabulous addition over the fireplace!
Thanks for stopping by. Yes they are big pine cones, aren't they? I found them on the ground in California back in the mid-1980's and I brought them home in my suitcase. And the paddle above it is part of a grinding stone that belonged to the family who built the house and lived in it before we did. Sometimes I wish it was gone so I could put something there but sometimes I really like it because it's unique. Have a great rest of your week. hugs-Erika
So good to hear you had good news with the results. I love your fireplace decorations, as for all the work involved with the air conditioning? UGH. Your cards are so pretty. Love each of the stamp images. x
I love both of your cards Aimes. It sure sounds like you're dealing with a lot right now. Sending hugs your way my friend.
