Hello and happy first Friday of June.
That means it's time for a new challenge #219 at Pattie's Creations Design Challenge!
She provides a new freebie digi to use every month, but you can use any stamp.
Go to the link I provided for the complete challenge rules.
And here is my inspiration make, using Pattie's Seagulls Roost digi.
I've colored it up with Promarkers, accented the waves with a white gel pen and then brushed the water with a clear Wink of Stella liquid glitter brush pen.
Edges of the designer papers were distressed with the Tim tool.
I chose this Splitcoaststampers sketch for my 5x7-inch layout design.
SUPPLY LIST:
Recollections white card for base
Springhill Digital white card for printing image
Promarkers, white gel pen and Wink of Stella to color
Card scraps to cut dies and color
Magenta (circa 2004!) and Polkadoodles designer paper
Art Impressions Sail Mini Die (ship's wheel)
Impression Obsession All The Best die
Lawn Fawn Banner die for small Hero Arts sentiment
Versamark ink and White embossing powder
Twined RicRac ribbon from stash
Here is the back and the inside of the card.
Flair designer paper (also circa 2004) on the back with a stamped siggie, and a Hero Arts stamped sentiment inside. I have been hoarding that paper because I love it!
And last look.
I think this is a perfect guy card!
Come join us in the challenge.
Thanks for your visit today -- enjoy and be blessed!
XOX
Used 3 dies listed in above post
I love and use my versatile Art Impressions Mini Dies, love and use the LF banner dies frequently and love this IO sentiment die because it's not too big-all faves!
I've added twined ricrac ribbon
1. Old: Flair and Magenta designer papers from 2004
2. New (to me): Pattie's Creation's digi stamp
3. Blue: water, sky, papers, ribbon, Die cut
I'm always inspired by how you use Splitcoaststampers sketches, Aimeslee! Your coloring is beautiful as always, and I love all the little accents that you've added. xo

Seeing the seagulls by the water is a sure sign of Summer. I grew up in Duluth, Minnesota on the shores of Lake Superior. And even though they're call SEA gulls, they are everywhere around the Great Lakes. This brought some great memories to mind for me. THanks so much for sharing with us at The Four Seasons.
