Anniversary CAS Card

 Happy Saturday!

Our daughter and son-in-love's 4th wedding anniversary is coming up soon and I made this card to send to them. I used a 3D decoupage set that I recently bought on Amazon.
It's a pretty clean and simple design.

I used this Splitcoaststampers as inspiration. My card has all the same elements but I moved the #5 element up top because it looked better and more balanced to me. I also made mine a 6x6 square card.

SUPPLIES USED:
KI Memories White, purple, green card stocks
Spellbinders Scalloped and Classic Circles dies
Spellbinders heart die
Cheery Lynn Scalloped Rectangle (on back)
Fiskars corner punch (on back)

Close up of the decoupage layers. I'm not really able to mail cards with a lot of dimension, so I don't adhere the layers with foam tape or dimensionals. I still get a subtle layered dimension using glue.

I composed and framed the inside sentiment in PSE and printed out on pastel copy paper.
On back, I used the bottom decoupage image (that I was supposed to adhere all the layers on) and die cut it down a bit with the scalloped rectangle die. The green mat corners were punched.
Since I chose to inset the scalloped circle die on front, I opted to use the decoupage base layer image on the back, like I would use designer paper.

Last look.
I'm kind of addicted to the 3D Decoupage and would do them all the time if I let myself!
I have been collecting kits, so I probably could do them all the time, lol.

Here's to the {still} happy couple!
Honey and I love them both all there is.
💘
Thanks for the visit today and enjoy your weekend!

Gorgeous anniversary card!!! And their wedding photo is beautiful with their fun pose! Pansy flowers just look like they're always smiling! Something about how they're shaped, I guess. The lavender tones make the card more romantic! Thanks so very much for being part of the FIRST competition of Heart's Quest Celebrations of Love!!! --Becca
