Happy Friday, hope all is well.
Honey and I are trying to relax after watching some nail-biting baseball.
I had planned to post this earlier but just couldn't tear myself away from the TV.
I've got some Halloween party 4X6 art to share today.
Everything is stamped (Technique Junkies, Third Coast, Artistic Outpost, Sassafras Las, Pink By Design and Impression Obsession) and the background was ink-blended using Hero Arts Neon Dye Inks in yellows and green.
I wanted to see if I could create a funny/cute little Halloween party scene using only the stamps I have. The ink-blended card base was leftover from last week's neon ink play. On this one, I blended together yellow and green. The door, witch, sentiments, spiders and row of gears were stamped with Versafine Clair inks. I stamped and heat-embossed the skeleton on white card, then colored it with two shades of grey Zig Clean Watercolor markers. I also did a wash with a blue-grey Zig for the walkway. The Party sign was also colored with the Zigs. I made confetti dots with my glitter markers and then used red and purple acrylic paint pens at top and bottom and all around the edge.
Final view.
This went right to my seasonal art corner display.
The neon background is quite eye-catching as I walk by.
I caught myself once wanting to strike the same pose as the witch, haha.
😉
Thanks for visiting and have a great day.

Thanks so much for submitting your Halloween card to both TFATU and Heart's Quest!!! Looks great!!! == Becca
Oh my goodness the witch on this card is a hoot! She really seems to be flirting with the skeleton and really makes the card.
This is a fun piece. I love the witch. I wonder what beauty pageant she is in. Smile. Those colors are great and this is a fun piece. Thanks for sharing at TIOT.
And let me ask you if you wear gloves when you re-ink your pads. I use the credit card to smoosh it in, and I still manage to get my hands inky. Perhaps I'm putting too much in at one time. And of course I usually walk away with painty, inky, markered hands when I'm working so maybe it's just me who's messy.
I didn't see the game but I notice Houston only needs to win one more. Back in 2004, when the Red Sox came back from 3 losses in the world series, we stayed up to all kinds of hours and still went to work the next day. Good thing all the kids were tired too because everyone was off on their game after a couple of late nights. Those nail biters are fun though. And last night we went to see one of your Houston natives in concert. Our seats were terrible (it was in a small venue) but Lyle Lovett did a great job.
Have a super weekend and good luck for this next game. It might be another nail biter.
Hugs-Erika

Such a fun journal page. I love that sassy witch, she is certainly 'setting her cap' at the skeleton. Look at the hand on hips stance! Those ghoul heads in the door are certainly welcoming you in - brilliant touch!
Great colouring, I love the tones of the lime green and it truly shows as neon colour. Fab bright lettering.
Thank you for such a fun page for my theme at AJJ.
