Love Potion #9

Happy Saturday!

Hope everyone's weekend is coming together well.

We're doing our usual, which is mainly just getting through the chore list, lol.

And then relaxing, which for me means art time.

I'll have another post later on today, but I'm popping in now to share this collaged 4x6 Artist Post Card or APC that I made for my Honey that I'll display for Valentine's Day. I've used 3 images in my collage. The Rx slip and the medicine bottle with the label text are stamps from an old Artistic Outpost set called "Apothecary". I stamped them in Versafine Clair ink and then sponged on some Distress inks to color them. The "Love Potion #9" is from the same set and was stamped and heat embossed. The 3rd image of the couple and the moon was fussy-cut from an old sheet of Paper Love 12x12 scrapbooking paper. The red Cupid was cut using a W Plus Nine die. I glue-dotted a heart charm to hang from the moon. and added a tiny heart sequin in the middle. I also added 2 punched hearts to the bottle. Oh, and the red base paper was from my scrap stash and cut with a scalloped rectangle die. The postcard base is chipboard and I painted it black with acrylic paint first thing.

I really like how it turned out, just using 3 main elements. I hope Honey likes it too.
