Happy 1st of May and that means it's time for a new challenge at Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog!
This is my Design Team make for the challenge. I created a holiday center step fold fireplace scene using an MFT tree stamp and Lawn Fawn stamps/dies and designer papers from 7Gypsies' Santa's Journey collection.
The card base is Kraft paper and the sentiment die along the bottom was cut from gold mirror board.
Inside I've used Papertrey Ink stamps and Versafine Clair ink for the sentiments. I stamped them on a Spellbinders Labels 21 die that I inked with Old Paper DI to blend with the patterned paper strip underneath.
The back has more 7G papers and a colored and punched stamped siggie.
I used Posca paint pens to color the fire and log, wreath, trees and the stocking collars. The stockings and the fireplace were stamped and die cut using scrap card stock. Everything stamped was also heat-embossed. I had die cut several of the red stockings last year and had these 4 left, so I carefully stamped them with the LF stamp and Versamark, then heat-embossed with the gold.
