Hello again. It's been a week since I last posted and that's not like me, lol. But the infusion treatment has kicked my butt, so I've been taking it easy. I'm having major lack of energy and flu-like feelings, which means that inside of me the meds are battling my arthritic inflammation pretty fiercely. I can remember my first infusion 15 years ago, it was like an instant energy pill. I've still been able to create, though, thank goodness. I had a friend's milestone birthday card to get off in the mail to the UK, as well as a card for a 4/1 guest design gig, neither of which I can share yet.
Here's a birthday card that I can share with you. Back in January, I made some mermaid/ocean themed birthday cards and had leftover paper and images. This card was one of those. (And I literally can make like 5 more cards from what's still left.) I never got around to posting it until now.
Supply List:
Recollections, SU and KI Memories card stock
KI Memories designer paper
Pastel copy paper
Tiddly Inks Little Valentine Mermaids digis, colored with Promarkers
Spellbinders A9 Party Dots embossing folder, ink-distressed with
Moonlight White Brilliance ink
Spellbinders Classic Circle die
Neat & Tangled Little Tangle Waves border stamp, stamped with Versamark ink and
heat-embossed with white powder
CC Designs sentiment stamp, stamped with Versamark and white-heat-embossed
Digi Doodle digi sentiments (inside)
Tutti Designs Slimline dies (back)
I chose this Splitcoaststampers slimline sketch for my layout design.
I love how versatile the A9 size embossing folders are. I now have several of the Spellbinders and I am able to use them on every card size I make.
Inside, the Digi Doodle sentiments printed on copy paper.
A view of the back with the front.
And a final look. This was mailed to a special lady friend of both of ours who loves mermaids and anything ocean/beach.

First of all let me say I hope you are feeling better, and if not, you are feeling better ASAP. I'm not sure what this infusion is, but I am curious about it. (Seeing my allergist thinks my continuous hives have a rheumatic connection but the rheumatologist does not. I feel like the rope in a tug of war sometimes. This card is a lot of fun, and I'm glad you were able to share it. I love the blue "bubble" paper and the brighter blue circles. And fun pun too. Glad you've been able to create, and hope your feeling up to blogging more soon. hugs-Erika

Love this ocean theme card. I gravitate to ocean cards and make them too. Yours is so unique Aimes. I like your design on a slimline card. I was going to ask how you embossed your background then read it's with a size A9 folder. Very nice.
I just love this mermaid themed card and these images are so cute! The embossed background is perfect too! Thanks so much for sharing at Passion for Markers this week. Hugs, Karen x
This is so cute! I love it my friend. I would really like to be swimming with the mermaids. sigh My energy is so sapped right now. Just finished moving my daughter back home and now I'm sick, sick, sick. Ugh!! Hope you're having a good week.
