Merry Christmas, Lawn Santa!

Happy Friday, hope your weekend plans are just what you've ordered, even if it's doing nothing! Today is also Christmas Card Day, so there ya go!
I'm sharing the Christmas card we gave our lawn guy, and I chose to make a Z-fold card with a pocket section in back for his cash present.
Supplies Used:
Office Depot Legal Size card stock for Z-Fold base
All sentiments created by me in PSE & printed on Springhill Digital card
Assorted Christmas paper scraps from stash
Autumn leaves paper scraps from stash
Tumbled Glass Distress ink for background
Art Impressions focal image stamped with Fallen Leaves Versafine Clair ink
and heat-embossed with clear powder
Lawn Fawn Santa Hat stamp
Images and front sentiment mats colored with Promarkers
Very old tree silhouette images stamped with Versafine Clair
MFT Cloud Trio dies
Spellbinders Postage Stamp die (inside sentiment poem)

I chose this Splitcoaststampers sketch for my layout design, resizing to A7 in PSE and using my fussy-cut Lawn Santa focal image in place of the #2 element.
I admit this is a pretty unconventional card but I got the idea and went with it! Honey and our lawn guy both loved it, so I must have somehow tapped into "guy card" humor or something, lol.
Here is a close-up of the little poem I wrote and added to the inside center panel.
And this is a view of the back, using the various paper scraps.
Here's the "present" that Lawn Santa gave us, much appreciated and well worth his fee! Our front yard oak tree (not shown) has shed almost all its leaves now, so the After look might just last awhile (fingers crossed), hopefully until his next visit on 12/29.
One last look at the front of the folded up card. 😁{smiling}😁
Now, onto some food!
This week's Rain's Art & Dinner Date share is my brunch plate from Sunday.  You may remember that Honey bought a cast iron tortilla press recently and after a few practice sessions following instructions from
this YouTube video of Glenn and Friends, I think he's got it down! We had scrambled eggs with grated cheese in soft flour tortillas, homemade guacamole, bacon and my beloved Pace Picante Sauce on the side. Oh man, I could eat this meal every day. Might sound weird to you, but I love to add a spoonful of the guac to my tortilla right before each bite. It's not as messy that way. That's right, I love guac in my scrambled eggs IF it's all wrapped in a soft, warm flour tortilla. 😎

That's all for me. Thanks for the visit and have a good day.

I love the idea of a lawn Santa. Of course up here in the north ours would be in a plow truck rather than on a lawn mower. Smile. And your hubby's tortillas look delicious. As does that quac. Yum. Hae a great weekend. hugs-Erika

What a fun card my friend. Love that saying and those fall leaves designer paper you used too. I need the lawn Santa to come by my house for all of the leaves that dropped today from the wind.

I love that Honey bought a cast iron press for tortillas. This is something I've been trying to perfect making, but I think I have the wrong equipment! Your brunch is awesome, I love eggs and cheese on tortillas too! ☺ I love your Lawn Santa and the poem!!! ♥
