Hello, hope all is well with you. With 12 days to go until Christmas, I am feeling burned out on it. I told Honey I feel like I've lost my joy and he said he felt the same way. I'm usually a very optimistic person, so I sure hope I get a good night's sleep, wake up tomorrow and have it back. I'll probably be posting a bit less after this week to attend to other matters, so hopefully that will help.
Today I'm sharing a birthday card for a girlfriend. I really liked this digital stamp and wanted to try it. I added the "Celebrate" sentiment in PSE before printing out, but the top and bottom sentiments are stamped.
Supplies Used:
Springhill Digital card stock
Prima Madeline designer papers
Promarkers and glitter gel pens to color image
MFT sentiment stamps
Versafine Clair ink
Uniko inside stamped sentiment
I've used this Splitcoaststampers sketch for my layout design.
Close up showing the glitter gel penning on her hair and her cymbals.
Inside is matted with more of the Prima papers and a stamped sentiment.
A view of the back of the card along with the front to show continuity.
And a final view.
Thanks for the visit and have a good evening.

Gorgeous card Aimeslee. I totally understand how you're feeling as I feel the same way. It was a struggle to get the tree up this year. Hubby says we are not going to be home next Christmas so maybe a cruise or something. The current situation with inflation and discontent in this country has me down. Thanks for playing along with us at The Colour Crazy Challenge.

Your friend will more than like this Aimes, it is gorgeous. Like a piece of art, love your insert and back of the card. Incredible image and papers.

I love your card! That maiden sure looks like she's having fun. Hang in there my friend. Hugs.
Love this card. I love how it is fussy cut to go over the edge. I too, have lost my Christmas spirit. I am not even putting a tree up this year. It is so much work and then to have to take it down so quickly. Maybe, next year, but not this one.
Such a beautiful card, Thanks for sharing it with us at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.

A glorious card for your friend's birthday celebration, Amy. You always make such interesting projects and fill all available space with designs and I love that!
I know exactly what you mean about loosing your 'joy' as mine has gone awol as well. I truly believe we should get back to traditional, family based ways of celebrating the season - and now i just feel grinchy :)
Hope you and your loved ones have a Merry Christmas, a wonderful rest and a Happy New Year.
Also, thank you for sharing your project with us at the Crafts Galore Encore “Anything Goes” December Challenge. Good Luck and hope to see you again soon!

What an amazing card. I like how you left the woman lightly colored but the background behind her is vibrant and colorful. So fun. Thanks for joining us at Happy Little Stampers ~ Birthday Challenge.
