Season's Tweetings!

Hiho! Hope all are well and not too much over-eating in the USA. Our Thanksgiving meal of country-style ribs, scalloped potatoes, greens and corn muffins was super delish. I am proud of myself for not over-eating for once. Our weather is dreary: rain and more rain. All the better to be retired and have an art hobby to stay inside for.
😎
It's now T-minus 30 sleeps until Christmas Day! Time to get all the loose ends stitched up, cards finished and addressed to mail and decorations put out. Let the Stress Games begin!
😏😵😶
Supplies Used:
Image: Sheepski Christmas Post Box, colored with Promarkers, pencils, paint pens and Wink of Stella
Color Mates and Springhill Digital card stocks
Basic Grey Fruitcake designer papers
Glitter washi tape
Lawn Fawn Season's Tweetings sentiment stamped with Versamark and heat embossed
White embossing powder

I resized this Splitcoaststampers sketch to 6x6" in PSE for my layout design. I used the fussy-cut digi image in place of the oval element.
The bottom sky mat was ink-blended by me using a blending brush and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. After that dried, I went to town splattering diluted white acrylic paint with a small round paint brush.
The inside of the card, left side matted with Basic Grey and an emboss-resist inked side.
Close-up of the inside Stamplorations sentiment, stamped with Nocturne Versafine Clair and heat-embossed. Various snowflakes were stamped around that and clear heat-embossed. Then I inked the surface with a blending brush and Speckled Egg, Cracked Pistachio and Evergreen Bough Distress Inks.
The back of the card with some of the BG and a siggie, shown with the front.
Close up shot to try to show some of the glitter and texture of the snow, which I colored with multiple layers of white paint pen and Wink of Stella. I also rubbed a white pencil across the post box and wood posts for snow dust.
And final view. This one's going to our mail carrier.
Thanks for visiting and have a great day.

Absolutely gorgeous! I adore that sweet robin Aimeslee.
We're getting a lot of rain here near London, but some sunshine in between. Today has been lovely, and I had some washing out on the line. It came in dryer than it went out is the best I can say 😂
Have a great weekend.

Such a beautifully designed card, lovely image and papers, great use of the sketch and glittery washi tape. You really went the extra mile- not often you see the back of a card decorated as well as the front and inside! It makes it extra-special! Thank you for joining in with our ‘Christmas Animals’ Challenge at Fab’n’ Funky.

Gorgeous card Aimeslee! Love your coloring on that Sheepski image. I just might need to get it for my stash. Would you kindly send some of your rain my way please. Every time there's rain in our forecast it disappears.
