One More Lighthouse Card

HelloHello, hope all is well in your part of the world.
I'm popping in with one more lighthouse card using an Inkadinkado stamp that I've had since 2010 but got inked for the first time now.

I chose this Splitcoaststampers sketch for my 4x6" card layout design.
This stamp had enough solid silhouette-like parts to it that I thought I'd try stamping it on a patterned paper scrap I had (in next pic below). I thought it would create some cool "windy" movement. After I stamped it with the Warm Breeze VF Clair and heat-embossed it with clear powder, I thought, I'm leaving it that way and decided not to color it. Of course, I had to add some gel-penning to the lighthouse and then to the setting sun and the water below that, all using my Sakura Starlight gel pens for a soft glitter. I ink-distressed my paper layers onto a stenciled background, shown below. Finally I added another of the framed sentiments I created in PSE on Springhill Digital card.
Here are the blue/green turquoise scraps and ink I used to make the card. The marbled paper square underneath the inkpad is what I stamped the focal image on.
I used the Tim Holtz Distress Layering stencil "Cells" with the Warm Breeze VF Clair to create tone-on-tone backgrounds for the front and back.
Hero Arts sentiments stamped with the Warm Breeze VF Clair.
The back together with the front to show continuity. The stenciled mat, a marbled paper scrap strip and a Sweet Stamp Shop siggie stamped on an inked mini-printer label that had been orphaned.
Here's the glitter and shine shot of the gel pens and heat embossing.
And final view. Well, that's enough lighthouses from me for awhile. I'm back tomorrow with a Christmas card.
Thanks for the visit and have a great week ahead, XXO

I'm glad you shared a close up because the texture and sparkle were not as clear in the whole view. They make the front of this card even more amazing. Have a great week. I am off to go pack and get ready for my little jaunt. Hugs-Erika

Oh wow, this is gorgeous! I love it. I am working on seven lighthouse cards right now...all the same. I'm using Stampin' Up dies. I found a tutorial on You Tube that explains how to light them up. My husband is responsible for doing the lighting process. He is much more detail oriented than I am.
