Make a Wish with a Cherry on Top

Hey Hey it's a Hump Day Hello! I'm sharing a feminine birthday card for a change! 😊
This is for my newest sister-in-law and I've used pre-colored digis from my friend Kris' ITDS digi stamp sets Chef Freddy and Treat Stand. Kris has decided to close her shop, and from now until December 21 at noon (PST) you can save big on her digi sets. 30-70% off. Go check it out

I used this Splicoaststampers sketch for my layout design. My card base is Recollections and Chef Freddy and his treat stand are printed out on Springhill Digital card, as is the vertical strip of digi paper included in Treat Stand set. The blue and yellow card scraps are SU and I've hand-stamped on white card scraps from my stash box. The two cherry clusters were made with my Sunny Stamps stamps and dies, colored with Promarkers.
The cherry border at the top and bottom of my card was made using a Crafty Sentiments border stamp on white card that I colored with Promarkers and fussy cut. The banner flags are hand cut from white card and I used a Kaiserkraft gingham background stamp with yellow Versafine Clair on the top one. Then I stamped the Papertrey Ink and Sunny Stamps sentiments. The little red hearts and dots are leftovers from prior projects and colored red with Promarkers.
Inside I've arranged two more of the cherry clusters around the stamped Hero Arts sentiments.
For the back I pulled this cherry patterned paper from Prima's A4 Fruit Paradise papers. I didn't think about papers for the back until too late to print more digital paper and let dry, so I went with this paper. So that it might look more coordinated, I colored in all the blue you see. I added a snippet from the yellow gingham strip underneath the Technique Tuesday stamped and circle-punched siggie.
A final view. She loved it so mission accomplished! Pre-colored stamps are soooooooo much easier and definitely look better than my utilitarian coloring. It also left me free to hand color the other elements. Go check out ITDS's Closing Sale! Until next time, thanks for visiting and stay well and crafty! xoxo

This card is just full of cuteness. The cherries really pop on your card. The back of the card, once again, is gorgeous. Love the mouse.
