Happy Hump Day and December 1st! 24 more sleeps until Santa comes! Today is my final design team share for Love To Craft Challenge Blog because the blog is closing for awhile after December's Anything Goes Challenge #65. I'm sad but also understand, so I am just happy to have had a great experience and grateful for the opportunity. 💟 Click on the THIS LINK to play the challenge.
One of Honey's sisters had a birthday recently and I this is what I made her. I began with a card base cut from 12x12 KI Memories 2-tone smooth card stock (yellow on the outside, red on the inside). The colors were a perfect match for the Echo Park Let's Party 6x6 papers I used. I cut a sheet of 12X12 KI Memories blue green regular smooth card stock for the mats.
I used Splitcoaststampers Sketch SC305 for my design layout, but I resized to 6x6 and flipped it horizontally to better accommodate my adorable little Gerda Steiner digital mouse and bear.
I printed them out and colored with Promarkers. I stamped the Papertrey Ink sentiment at their feet with Versamark and then heat-embossed with Ranger Lemon Yellow embossing powder. I stamped the Creative Vision circle sentiment with black Versafine ink after coloring the circle with a yellow Promarker.
Inside the card, a leftover scrap of the Echo Park paper with Hampton Art and Technique Tuesday stamped sentiments.
The back of the card features another sheet of the Echo Park and a scrap with the Technique Tuesday stamped siggie.
And a final view. These cute critters make me smile! Thanks for the visit today and until next time, stay crafty and well! XOX

ReplyDeleteIt's time to play catch-up again! Homeschooling is keeping me so busy I feel like I have absolutely no free time. I figured while I have the weekend off (no schooling on Fridays) I'd catch-up on my commenting. I love the card! First my favorite is how you finished the back. Just marvelous. I love the rest of it too. Wonderful card.
ReplyDeleteYour birthday cards must be such delight to receive. This is such fun, your SIL must have loved it. Hugs, Chrisx
