Hello again! Hope you are all well. I'm down to the wire entering the card I'm sharing today in the challenge I made it for, so please bear with me. I'll be adding to and finishing this post as soon as I get the card entered! Update: Done!
My card design began with this Split Coast Stampers sketch SC453, even though it might not be evident. I saw the bathtub where the two smaller circles are and the window with it's rounded top in place of the larger circle. And that's where I got the idea to put the "zoo" on the outside looking in, the sentiments saying let them wait and take time for yourself. Only problem was, the bathtub digi was the wrong way for the sketch, so I flipped it horizontally before printing it. (And I'll confess, I first thought to flip the sketch but then I was like, no you idiot, just flip the digi.)
I used a variety of 6x6 patterned paper collections: Polkadoodles Peeling Paint, Prima Almanac and Prima Moulin Rouge, as well as a DCWV card stock base and SU card stock for matting. The bath gal popped up on dimensionals is "Bubble Bath Piper" from Some Odd Girl digi stamps (at Whimsy Stamps), the pretty picture window is a Spellbinders die "Daydreaming" which was gifted me by a fabulous friend, and the peepers outside looking in are all Gerda Steiner's -- hand stamped, colored and die cut on sticker paper. I added a couple of Quickutz cloud diecuts to the sky. I used Promarkers and metallic gel pens to color everything. The sentiments are my own, computer generated. I added 3 water droplets gems from my stash to the upper right corner of the card.
Here's a pic of what the animals in the window looked like before I added the top paper layers and the window frame die. You can see the faint pencil outline of the window, which I drew first by lining up my papers after die cutting the window on my top paper. This enabled me to color the sky and arrange/adhere the animals and clouds to my liking. At that point, I really wanted to make a shaker out of it but no time. After the top paper layers are added, the window frame die cut goes inside the window aperture, so it covers up the pencil marks, yay!
On the inside of the card I hand-stamped Papertrey Ink and Avery Elle sentiments on Prima paper mats. The bathtub is a digi by The Stamping Boutique (NLIB) and I colored with Promarkers and gel pens. The Keep Calm sentiment was computer generated by me.

This is so cool to have the animals look through the window. Very intriguing and unique my friend. You put so much on your card front in such a cohesive way. It's like a story is being told. So you used to work at a library. I have a big love for libraries and took my daughter their regularly as a young child, throughout her childhood. She has passed that along to her daughter. When I need a place to hang out before work, that's just where I would go. Would is a key word here. Libraries do curbside pickup, but have been closed since last March due to COVID restrictions.
I agree with Annie, this is absolutely BRILLIANT, love the images and the sentiment cracks me up, love how you mixed the images and the window and EVERYTHING, genius card Aimeslee.

I just love this card! All the elements tie together so well. It cracks me up to see the animals peering in the window. I'm sure your sister-in-law will love it! I have still never had a Calgon bath. Baths in general are pretty much out now. If I sit down in the tub chances are I'm not going to be able to get out with this spinal injury. How I miss the bathtub! Maybe, I could talk my husband into one of the tubs that have a door and a seat! Most likely not.
Hahha! How clever! How funny! How perfect! Thanks for joining The Library.
