Time for December's Love to Craft Challenge #53!

Happy December! It's time for another Anything Goes challenge at Love to Craft!  You can enter 5 different projects and it lasts all month long. I'm sharing my design team make with you today.

Honey's oldest sister has a birthday coming up, and since they have been forecasting a bona fide cold front for her birthday week, I thought I'd try a winter-themed birthday card. Funny but I cannot ever remember doing that before, only Christmas cards!

I used Split Coast Stampers sketch SC36 from way back in 2005! Since this cutie pie's head was so large, I flipped the sketch vertically to accommodate it.

PAPERS: Recollections card stock, Pink & Main Frosty collection
STAMPS/IMAGES:  StarStampz digital Cup of Cocoa on a Cold Day, my computer-generated sentiments, I/O siggie
INKS: Promarkers, Memento, VersaMagic
DIES: Spellbinders Labels 2
OTHER/STASH:   Sequins

I spied this little cocoa drinker in my computer files and decided to print her out as large as I could.

I colored her with Promarkers in shades color-matched to the patterned paper and fussy-cut her out.

I created a computer-generated front sentiment, die cut it and outlined it and all the papers with a Promarker and then chalk ink. Had to add double-layer sequins just because I thought it needed a little something extra.

Inside, another computer-generated sentiment I die cut and adhered on a piece of the patterned paper.

And the back has more patterned paper with a die cut siggie stamp.

And a final view. I hope you check out Love to Craft Challenge #53 and see what my teamies have made. Thanks for dropping by to check out my art. I hope you stay well and safe! XOX

Love this design! Even though it's for a forecast cold birthday, it's absolutely adorable! I've had this image in my stash for years and have only used it once. Your SIL will love it!

Oh my, she is so cute! I need to go see what else you've done. I'm in crisis mode lately so I'm not keeping up very well.
