Hey there and happy Sunday!
I am on my iPhone making this post because…computer problems. 😵💫 They say bad things happen in 3’s. First the dishwasher died, then Thursday the microwave died and Saturday I got the blue screen of death on my 2011 Dell desktop. I was going to buy a new one this year but I did not anticipate needing to because of this lol. My whole life is on that desktop. Carbonate backs my data up automatically so I haven’t lost it and Tuesday Honey is taking it to our local tech guy to make a flash drive backup for me as a secondary. I’ve ordered a new computer that will be here by Friday so I may not be back to normal next Sunday but I will make a post like this one to update.
The worst part is definitely not being able to access my supply inventory files or any other data, or watch Netflix while I color or listen to music yadayada, but I will get through this just fine (repeat after me haha). See y’all later. Thanks for visiting and have a great week!
Oh no. It's kind of sad so much of our lives are tied to computers and the internet, but it does offer so many nice amenities. But when it fails, it is a catastrophe. Hope the new computer arrives on time and will be an easy set up for you. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI can imagine the frustration of losing your computer, it happened to me a few years ago, luckily my son had backed up a few days before, which reminds me I haven't done it in an age! Yikes! The dishwasher dying? That is awful, don't know what I would do without ours now. The microwave is something I rarely use, but another thing I wouldn't want to be without. At least they will all be new and lubberly for you soon. Hope all is well otherwise. Take care. xx

ReplyDeleteUgh! It's one thing to ease into a new computer when the old one is still active, and another to have to configure it while you work on it. Hope the backups are restored, the configuration stage is short, and you don't feel the difference when it's all done. 😊 Anita xx
