Kraft and Copper Christmas

 Hey there!
Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the week.
Thanks so much for all the anniversary wishes!
We had a wonderful day.
💕
Finally finished another one of those Christmas cards I'm making using the Gecko Galz square images.
Only have 4 more cards to make to use up the 24 squares I printed.
On this one, I combined Kraft and copper glitter embossing and metallic die cuts on a red card base.
A text block up top with little die cuts/pendants dangling by threads and a glitter-embossed tree at bottom.

I chose this Splitcoaststmpers sketch for my A7 layout design.
SUPPLY LIST:
SU red card stock for base
Kraft card
TH/Kraft-Core Copper metallic card stock
Gecko Galz collage sheet printed digital images
Impression Obsession sentiment dies
Spellbinders Nested Postage Squares die
Art Impressions Christmas Mini Dies
Penny Black tree stamp
Versamark stamping ink
Copper Glitter embossing powder
Twine to hang pendants
Tonic corner punch
Posca Bronze glitter paint pen (to outline kraft layer)
Close-up of the glitter embossing on the stamped tree.
The glitter shows a little, but in real life is much more sparkly.

The back of the card and the inside.
The back has a scrap of Basic Grey Fruitcake and a leftover strip of the red card stock, with a stamped siggie embossed with the copper glitter embossing powder.
Close-up of that embossing on the back.
The glitter shows up great in real life, but in a photo makes it look gritty or something.
Thanks, Photography!
😩
Last look.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy the day.

CHALLENGE LINK UPS:
I like wet embossing the best. I like how it looks and I can add it on separate stamped elements (like the tree I embossed) whereas dry embossing takes more a size commitment.

and
Middle Column: Embopssing / Red or Green / Die Cuts

  4. Beautiful Christmas card Aimes. I love the embossed elements and great take on the sketch. I hope you're not melting like we are. It's gone from lower 70's to low 90's in just a couple of days. I am hurting like mad.
