Happy Wednesday!
Hope everyone is well.
I have a cute and happy snowman on a Christmas card to share that I finished a few days ago.
Still working on DT projects, but I wanted to get this posted for challenges.
It features non-traditional Christmas colors, a snowman, heat and dry embossing and ink-distressing, to name a few.
I chose this Splitcoaststampers sketch for my A7 layout design.
SUPPLY LIST:
Recollections white card stock for card base and focal oval
Magenta designer paper
SU blue card stock
Gemini by Crafts Companion Torn Oval die
Sugarloaf snowman and sentiment stamps
Versafine Clair ink
Clear embossing powder
Promarkers to color focal image
Gel and Glitter pens for accenting
Cuttlebug A7 Snowflake Background embossing folder
Versamagic white chalk ink for distressing embossed snowflakes
Christmas letters ephemera from stash
Iridescent snowflakes (Amazon)
The black has more of the Magenta dp and a stamped, white heat embossed and die cut siggie.
A couple of close up shots to show the clear heat embossing on the focal image and sentiment, the glitter gel pen coloring on the stars, the white gel-penning on the snow flakes, the orange gel-pen coloring on the snowman's nose and the black gel-penning on his eyes, mouth and buttons.
Final view.
Thanks for the visit today and have a good one!

What a sweet snowman - this background is terrific! Thanks for sharing with us at MTTCC :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a very cute snowman. I like how you used some pink on the mittens and the hat, instead of the typical red or blue. It makes your card a little more playful. And the pink snowflakes are fun too. I hope your husband is all better now too and you have stayed healthy. hugs-Erika

ReplyDeleteSo cute, Aimeslee--he looks like he's welcoming us to his abode! Love how you've used non-traditional colors.
ReplyDeleteLove this snowman. I also love the idea of the Christmas sentiment being done on the small circles. so any times I want to have a sentiment that runs down the card and haven't been able to figure out how to do it.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute snowman and love the 'pink' hats and mittens!
