Yeti Birthday for LeighSBDesigns 5th Birthday Celebration!

Happy Hump Day, hope all is well with you. Get Yeti to Party with LeighSBDesigns!
I made this card as guest designer for Leigh's 5th Birthday theme of Celebrations, which is happening all the month of April with a Linky Party for sharing your (any) Celebrations-themed cards.
And also Big Sale-Bration Discounts on purchasing all her Digis and SVGs.

For my design layout I chose this Splitcoaststampers sketch, flipping it horizontally because I thought it looked better in that orientation with my image.
The orange card base and matting is KI Memories 12x12 smooth card stock. The patterned papers are by Avery Elle and Pebbles. The round stitched circle frame was cut with a My Favorite Things die. The dotted circle behind it was cut with a Spellbinders die. The die cuts forming the large side arrow per the sketch is the top half of a Spellbinders nested die. I used the other half on the back of the card.
Here's the back, where you see the other half of the Spellbinder nested dies at top. I used the smallest die to cut the edges of the orange strip behind the stamped and circle-punched siggie.
I have seen others use Yeti images and stamps so I knew they were a thing, but I actually did not really know what a Yeti is until I googled it while deciding whether to use this image. I was surprised to learn he's a way cuter animal version of The Abominable Snowman! Okay, this makes more sense to me now, lol.
I got the Yeti and other digital elements from Leigh's Yeti Build-A-Scene Collection Bundle. I arranged the Yeti, his sign and hat together in PSE and printed out on Springhill Digital card, fussy-cut it and then colored with Promarkers.
After adhering my colored image to my card front with large glue dots, I brushed the star on the top of the Yeti's hat with some gold Wink of Stella glitter. I coated his eyebrows and nose with a black gel pen and his white eye spot with white gel pen. I keep a cup of little confetti bits from die cut waste and I glued a bunch of them to the card all over to finish.
And a final view. I enjoyed making this for LeighSBDesigns and also learning about Yeti's. Here's hoping your day is not abominable at all and thanks for visiting. XOX

MY CHALLENGE PLAYLIST:
What inspired me by this quote graphic were the colors and meaning (believing in a Yeti requires more imagination than knowledge).
